Main goal of The Giga Society is to honour the efforts of the very highest scorers, who are of great importance to the development of ultra-high-ceiling tests for mental abilities. A secondary goal is to make members of other IQ-societies realize they're not all that, although they may think they are.
Entrance requirement is a score at or above the level of one in a billion individuals on a mental abilities test, which takes place approximately six standard deviations above the mean of the unselected world population. The actual qualifying scores are:
| Test for Genius (any form, either Total or subtest score) | IQ 196 | |
| The Nemesis Test | IQ 196 | |
| The Test to End All Tests or De Test Der Testen | IQ 196 | |
| De Giga-Test (Dutch, oral, individual) | IQ 196 | |
| The Final Test or De Laatste Test | IQ 196 | |
| Nonverbal Entrance Test I (numerical and spatial) | 196 | |
| Nonverbal Entrance Test II (spatial) | 196 | |
| Test for Extrasensory Perception (raw score) | 3 |
These tests can be obtained from the address on top of this page for one US dollar each. To join, submit a copy of your qualifying score to that address. No dues. You will receive proof of membership within two weeks. The Society's journal, Nemesis, will appear after every new enrollment and whenever there is enough copy. It will be sent to members only. All official tasks are performed by founder Paul Cooijmans. Computers who qualify will be admitted as well as humans.
