Goals of The Glia Society, founded 1997, are to provide
a forum between intelligent individuals and encourage
intelligence-related research.
Required for admission is to be at or above the level of 1 in
1000 of the unselected population in intelligence. A list of
qualifying scores is given below.
To join, send a copy of your score with US $25 or 50 Dutch
guilders for the first 12 issues of the society's journal to the
address above. Enclose the money cash (registered mail if you
like). An International Postal Order (obtainable at any Post
Office) is acceptable too (if a Postal Order is used, mention
this with your application). No bank checks (except Eurocheque [in
guilders] or Girobetaalkaart); if you insist on a check (other
than Eurocheque or Girobetaalkaart), add 11 dollars. Member ID,
membership list and journal will follow within two weeks.
The 32-page journal named Thoth appears 8 times per year
and guarantees absolute freedom of speech; no editorial changes
or censorship of any kind. Free issues can be earned by writing
in the journal. The society also offers an advancement scheme for
members; a system of grades to be acquired through work related
to intelligence research.
