Here is a partial list of websites that I have found interesting. My decision to list or not to list a particular site here is purely subjective; the non-listing of a site here is not necessarily a criticism, and the listing of a site does not necessarily imply that I endorse the site (or that the site endorses me). Site descriptions here were believed to be accurate when written, but these descriptions may contain opinions, may not be comprehensive, and should not be relied upon. Societies and Organizations

American Philosophical Association – A professional society for philosophers.

Association for Symbolic Logic – A scholarly organization in the field of symbolic logic.

National Coalition of Independent Scholars – A learned society for independent scholars.

Individual Thinkers

David Chalmers – A philosopher active in consciousness research; author of a book on consciousness. Site includes large directories of online papers about consciousness and of online paper authors.

Franz Kiekeben – This philosopher's site contains papers on a variety of philosophical topics (determinism, metaethics, philosophy of religion, and more), as well as links pages.

G. E. Nordell – This independent philosopher and writer operates the "Working Minds" website, which contains ideas and commentary on a variety of philosophical and social topics. The site also contains lots of links.

Links to ASL members – A page of links to home pages of members of the Association for Symbolic Logic (which is described elsewhere on this page).
