Mark's Mathematical Musings

Welcome to my deep, dark mathematical woods (or is it just an algebraic swamp?)

These pages describe some of my thoughts on various topics in mathematics. Some of these ideas are strictly recreational. Others are more substantial, and might actually develop into journal papers someday. The material on these pages can range from the serious to the silly, so don't be surprised by anything you might find. Have fun!

For information on my published work in set theory and logic, and for links to preprints, visit the science and mathematics page. While you're at this site, feel free to visit the home page or the sections on philosophy, politics and culture.
