Long-arm quilting involves the use of a special sewing machine on a 12 foot frame. They work together to make machine quilting easy. The table holds the layers together (no more basting needed) and has a special track that the sewing machine fits on. The track moves in all directions, which gives the machine the impression of 'floating' across the surface of the quilt. Our long-arm quilting machine has a stitch regulator, which means every stitch is the same length. The stitches range from 8 to 12 stitches per inch. With very little instruction you can meander or stipple your quilt with your own custom look. Our Gammill Classic Plus long arm offers you the opportunity to quilt like a professional.
