Process

I have elaborated on the final outcome, what life in the Pacific Northwest looks like, what the geography looks like, how people live after the changes.

I have also elaborated on physical events that seem to be happening within our planet and our Sun that may drive the changes that may be coming.

I have elaborated on some of the things visually we will see and technology we will have when it starts to get underway.

This is all assuming that these dreams are predictive and I don't know that they are. I do have dreams which I absolutely know are but they've only dealt with mundane things mostly, nothing like this. These however are repetitive, the dreamscape is consistent, and the sequence of events along one path or the other is consistent, and the outcome is consistent.

As I stated earlier, I see two paths, or two extremes of a path, one in which men exist in harmony with nature and each other and in that case we are not harmed, the process is actually beneficial. The second is closer to the path we seem to be on where we continue to hate each other, show little or no respect for each other or other life forms, or for the planet itself. Many of us don't make it down that path.

In both paths I see massive volcanism, but in the positive path it is slow and predictable allowing us not only to get out of harms way but even to make use of the energy released towards our own needs. In one form of the positive path, I see quite a lot of snow in the region in the winter, not just in the mountains but also in the cities as well. In the mountains, we utilize the volcanism to provide hot pools and heat and steam at ski resorts. It is not threatening, it is predictable and beneficial.

In the negative path, I see volcanoes going off all over the region, and not just known volcanoes like Mt. Rainier, Glacier Peak, Mt. Baker, Mt. Adams, and Mt. St. Helens, but many mountains assumed not to be volcanic in origin and new vents. These are largely concentrated along the I-90 corridor.

In this negative path, the volcanic activity along I-90 is too intense to make escape to the east possible. Volcanic ash in fact completely covers the highway and lava flows also cover parts of I-90 so that it becomes impassible. The volcanic ash though is not the gray powder that Mt. St. Helens produced. It is quite different, gravel sized chunks of red-brown quite porous and sharp material, like air bubbles in the rock. The color was suggestive of a magma with a high iron content, the texture suggested a high gas content.

These volcanoes weren't like typical west coast volcanoes that produce a very thick magma because it is remelted subducted material, rather it was a hot very fluid magma like Hawian volcanoes only more gassy and again the color of the rock suggested a high iron content.

The exception was the volcanic flow from the crack along the base of the ridge in eastern Washington, that magma flowed slowly and had a thick (but not gassy) consistency. I never see it cool in the dreams so I do not know if it has a similar color.

For reasons that aren't clear, a military force prevents people from fleeing to the south. These folks are serious and shoot anyone who tries to flee to the south.

I see nothing blocking flight to the north or west at this phase, but ultimately the
Olympic peninsula is transformed into a series of east-west fingers of land so this is probably not a good place to be. Parts of Seattle also survive, particularly the westernly parts, Ballard especially. So the best place to flee might simply be to one of those neighborhoods. Though I imagine food and fresh water will rapidly become problematic.

I am troubled by the construction of all of these cement walls along the freeway. They restrict exiting the freeway on foot except at an exit. They claim these walls are for noise abatement, but the freeway noise at our house was considerably more noticable after the walls. Further, they have steal doors in the walls but they are padlocked. It is clear to me that these walls were meant to control people not sound.

As I said I saw volcanism along the I-90 corridor in the extreme. What I have described so far has been on this side of the mountains, but I also see activity on the east side although the nature is somewhat different.

Specifically, there is an area that is east of Vantage near I-90 where there is a small town, and to the Northeast of that town there is a dry desert area leading up to a ledge of sorts, I searched for a configuration like this using Google maps and satellite data and I can find one region that fits this configuration. It is Horlick area, just north of I-90, and to the northeast there is a dry desert area with a ridge to the east.

In the dreams I see a huge lava flow come out at the base of this ridge. I am in the town and initially the towns people do not feel threatened, it is far enough away. But the lava is slowly spreading to the west and to the south. I feel the pavement and I can feel it is hot to the touch. Then I spot magma coming up at one location, a small amount not a huge flow but it's right there in the town. I alert the towns people and then barely make it out of there myself. Buildings are consumed and catch fire.

Further south, near Yakima but not all the way down, I see a government underground facility there. It is massive. It is designed to support an underground community of thousands, maybe tens of thousands. It's built like a huge corkscrew tunnel into the ground, and various facilities are at various levels along the way. It goes down to a depth of about five hundred feet but you have to drive the corkscrew for miles to get there.

At the very bottom there is a nuclear fission reactor that provides power for the entire complex. The entire complex is designed to be able to seal itself off from the surface and be self-sufficient for years if need be.

A large number of people from the surrounding people are evacuated into this complex. More than it was designed to handle, but they can be accommodated, not a comfortable survival, but survival. The military believes that once sealed they will be safe from the volcanism but nobody is really sure. The lava will pass over the surface and not penetrate and they can maintain for a long time with no exit to the surface but there is no way to know a volcanic vent or plume won't find the facility from below. Nobody has really any idea where the magma is coming from.

The military assigns various people tasks based upon their knowledge and skills. I am assigned some duty that involves maintenance of the reactor. I am assured that it is safe but I am concerned about being exposed to radiation.

This scenario presents itself to me in recurring dreams. I can't really make sense of it all, why here in central Washington the military seems to be trying to help the populace survive while in western Washington they are shooting at people attempting to flee to the south.

I wonder if the military has any facility like this in that region.

A funny kind of related thing, and maybe this is where the material for the facility came from in my dreams... When I first started working for the telephone company in 1978, there were some people in the main complex in downtown Seattle that had work for the company for many decades.

Now, we had three buildings close together at the time, one that we called Main, at 1122 3rd Avenue, another that we called Mutual at 1200 3rd Avenue, and a third at 1101 4th Avenue that had operator services and the switching control center as well as a PBX switch of some sort for a company.

These buildings were connected via a underground tunnel system and you could go between them through these tunnels. The tunnels were also used for cable between the buildings to connect the telephone switching offices in the different buildings (trunking).

I had a universal key when I worked there that would open almost any telephone company lock except for some of the officers offices on floors of Bell Plaza, and a few doors in this tunnel. There were three that I recalled not being able to get into.

I asked the old timers what these doors went to and I was told that the first went to a power room where they had huge batteries and diesel generators to power the central offices. This was standard telephone company stuff, every central office had a power room. But in every other office my key would get me into it.

But these offices also had a lot of military circuits so I could understand why they might want to control access more tightly since disrupting power could take down military communications not just civilian circuits.

I was told the next door was to a stairway that lead down to the train tunnel that went under the buildings. This tunnel did in fact exist and being up on the high floors of the buildings when the trains went under them was unnerving as they would sway quite a lot.

The last door, the old timers told me, went to a military complex located some five hundred feet under ground and they told me there was a nuclear reactor there.

Well, I know there are deep underground bunker facilities in some other cities relating to continuity of government, and having one near an underground train tunnel would give them a means of secretly supplying such a facility, and there were military circuits in that complex, so I always wondered if there were any truth to it. I never once saw that door unlocked or anyone enter or leave so I never had the opportunity to find out. I asked supervisors but they told me the old timers were pulling my leg but I'm not sure to this day.

But that may have been the seed for this complex in the dream, I don't know.

Like I've said, I don't really know the meaning of these except that they keep repeating which gives me the feeling there is some type of reality to them.
