Recurring Dreams - Earth Change New Configuration

In my previous post I mentioned two types of dreams, one in which the dream appears to be a time slice that is logically consistent, contiguous, and these have been for me almost always prophetic (only one time I can recall one of these where reality played out differently than the dream time slice).

And then I have dreams which are not contiguous, I go from one place to another without having been in between, some how just morphing from one setting to another, or I become different characters, or my perspective changes from being a third party observer of a character to being the character. These type are rarely prophetic except in as much as some idea sometimes come across in these that I then am able to implement.

There is another dream category that I have in which a particular image or theme repeats. These dreams aren't logically contiguous like the prophetic dreams I have had, yet, they same theme keeps recurring. In many cases I believe this is just the subconscious trying to bring something into conscious awareness to be addressed, unsuccessfully, so the dream keeps repeating until whatever it is does come into conscious awareness.

There is a subset of this category that I am not sure exactly what they mean because they keep not only repeating the same theme but also the same details. Particularly, from the time I was a young child until present I have had dreams involving massive volcanism and earth changes in the area surrounding where I live in Washington state.

These have the most detail around Seattle and tend to get less detailed as the area involved moves away from Seattle, none the less, the details present are consistent from dream to dream and this series of dreams have stayed essentially the same since childhood until present.

In these dreams I see a very changed Pacific Northwest, and I also at times see the process of change. The process can take more than one path and which path it takes depends upon humans and how they treat each other and other life forms on the planet and the planet as a whole.

Love and respect for this planet, and all the people and life forms on it brings a peaceful, even beneficial transition, hatred and disregard for this planet, it's people, and other life forms takes us down an unpleasant painful path. The end game is the same either way.

I have never been entirely sure if this is a physical reality, a prophesy, represented in these dreams, or merely a metaphor for something else. However, curiosity has caused me to research aspects of geology that could lead to these changes. I will go into this in more detail in a later post.

In the final configuration, the details are so consistent that even roads are the same from dream to dream. The topology and geological structure of the land has changed radically, but these changes are consistent from dream to dream.

Puget Sound and the system of related islands are replaced by a series of east-west fingers of land, the bases of which originate approximately at the current eastern shore of Puget Sound, so western Seattle extends out on these land fingers which extend roughly to where the current western shore of the Olympic Peninsula.

This is good for humans because it results in a great deal of waterfront land, that is used for a variety of uses, and the water ways serve as natural canals and are used for shipping and also by individuals with small boats to access the ocean.

I see people living very differently materially and in terms of the priorities of life. Climatic and other changes accommodate a much different lifestyle, perhaps even dictate it.

The climate is quite different than what it is here now. Year round temperatures tend to hover in the 65-85 degrees Fahrenheit range and rain tends to happen early morning. The seasons are not really distinguishable here but up in the mountains they still are and there is snow pack build up and spring run-off still and so the main thing we see is a change in the level of streams and rivers but otherwise the weather is very consistent.

There are times when streams and rivers are relatively navigable by boat, and times when they are not because of varying water levels.

In these dreams, gentle hills covered with grass and various greenery seem to be the norm. We have houses on these hills, there are no discernible land boundaries, no fences, no obvious demarcation of property lines. The houses tend to be simple, not shacks but not large elaborate structures and they don't seem to be full of "stuff". Often they have just open doorways and windows, no actual doors or glass. Privacy seems neither necessary or desired. Crime does not appear to exist. So doors and solid windows serve no real purpose.

We seem to have roads still but they tend to be less complex, less disruptive to the surroundings, and less used. People do have cars but they are fewer, less grand, smaller, and more efficient. Even at that they are used only sparingly.

I do not know how we make a living for ourselves or feed ourselves, in the dreams we neither seem to be doing either of these things.

Rather than being obsessed with making and owing things, the majority of our time seems to be dedicated to interacting with each other and with nature.

The roads that do exist seem to be small and not so well maintained, I never see freeways in these dreams, roads like Lake City Way or Aurora are about as big as it gets.

The hill that exists between Bothell Way and Brier is replaced by a much longer ridge going from Lake Forrest Park to Bothell. The area surrounding Lake Washington is a valley and the valley extends up to where Bothell way is now.

Lake Washington has changed considerably, Lake Union is gone, these east-west fingers connect through channels to Lake Washington. Lake Washington has a number of larger streams flowing into it and during the spring melts these are navigable by boat, but in the late summer they are shallow enough or completely dry and can be walked on foot.

There is a very organic sense of aliveness to the whole thing. The waters are clean. There is ample commerce and there are people living along the water front, in some areas quite densely, yet, there are no problems with pollution. It is not clear what we are trading and with whom but I do see ships navigating these natural canals.
