Dreams Of The Great Earth Changes

I ran across a site entitled, "Dreams of the Great Earth Changes", and while there is a lot of noise on the site, material that I can't make sense of, there is also some interesting material amongst that noise.

My own dreams and visions have been limited to the immediate vicinity, mostly the area surrounding Seattle, but I do have some also of Eastern Washington and the I-90 corridor. These dreams that I see involve massive volcanism.

On the Dreams of the Great Earth Changes site, I find very similar material for other areas. One BC resident sees the top of Mt. Baker blowing off and describes it as making Mt. St. Helens look like a child's popgun. This is entirely possible, Mt. Baker is the youngest of the Pacific volcanoes and had a number of eruptions in the mid-1800's. However, historically, Mt. Baker has not had the type of explosive eruptions that St. Helens and Glacier Peak have had.

The eruptions in the 1800's did involve lava flows, large pyroclastic flows, ash, and steam emissions. An eruption in 1843 started a major forest fire. Given that Mt. Baker is the second most glaciated mountain in the Cascades (after Mt. Rainier), a massive steam explosion isn't impossible. Even a minor eruption would be extremely dangerous because the rapid melting of the glaciers will result in terrible flooding. This is also a major danger with Mt. Rainier.

There is also an interesting dream of someone in a boat off of Los Angeles and they see dead fish all around them. Someone puts their hand in the water and it is very hot. Then they are on the shore watching and a volcano raises out of the water. This too would not be impossible, there are an estimated 20,000 volcanoes underwater world wide and a significant percentage of those are in the Pacific around the ring of fire.

I've added a link to this site in the links section to the right.
