What are the spiritual implications of extraterrestrial visitations? To the degree they interact with humans the communications are nearly always reported as being telepathic with just occasional gestures. Does being more technically advanced imply a greater degree of spiritual advancement? Or did Star Trek Next Generation get it right with the Ferengi and the Borg?
