UFO from Alki

I don't know what this object is, but it doesn't appear to be a bird, insect, balloon, blimp, helicopter, rocket, or conventional aircraft. It also is not shaped like the orb UFOs that I've been photographing frequently recently. There was no sonic boom, so probably not the Aurora. At this point, it remains unidentified. I photographed this earlier this summer but owing to database corruption had to re-install into the gallery so add date isn't the date it was photographed.
