Sunset over Lake Washington Tweaked

Sunset over Lake Washington on July 26, 2007 taken from a Kirkland waterfront park and then digitally tweaked. If Mars were warmed up and the water frozen in the regolith melted; it is likely rich in all sorts of dissolved substances not so familiar with the Earth. It is believed that most of the nitrogen from the Martian atmosphere is dissolved in the water in the form of nitrates; various sulfur salts appear to be more common. So who knows what color the water might look if it melted and formed an ocean.
