Vashon-Bainbridge-Olympics At Night From Alki
|
This is shot from Alki Point using a Cannon S2 IS Digicam. This portion of the sky was quite dark owing to the low population in this particular area but the mixture of moonlight getting through the clouds, sodium vapor, mercury vapor, and other lighting made for such a colorful sky that I wanted to capture it. I developed a technique for cheating when a camera limits your exposure to not enough.
