Spotted in Google Maps. These are terrestrial, the US government has had them since 1978. I knew someone who worked on the avionics and was familiar with the operation of these crafts and described them to me, They are a form of nuclear airplane using magnetoplamadynamics propulsion. This is basically like MHD used by submarines except that since air is not normally conductive, a plasma torch is used to make it conductive.
