And here is the photo manipulated version of IMG_3356.JPG. What I've done is enhance image detail, and then used a perspective correction tool to un-correct the perspective and make it appear that the Lake Washington Regatta wall plack was photographed straight on. This distorted the rest of the image turning a rectangle into the shape you see here; and then I filled in the background with a shade of brown that I felt kind of it with the rest of the image and then used the "Clarify" function to selectively enhance contrast but also affect the brown border in the process.
