Rainbow Chaser

Rainbow Chaser

Rainbow Chaser is a Korean memory practice game similar in some ways to the Simon game. As with Simon, you are presented with a sequence of colors that you have to remember and repeat. However, unlike Simon there are seven colors, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet, instead of just four. Also, unlike Simon the colors aren't in fixed locations so you not only have to remember what order the colors were displayed in but where.

Rainbow Chaser opening screenThere are three buttons on the opening screen. The left most button takes you to Pure Pulses website. The second button gives you a demonstration of how to play the game. The third takes you directly to game play.

If you haven't played this game before, I recommend watching the demonstration.

The Demo Menu
The demo menu has two buttons at the bottom. The left starts demo mode where the game plays itself so you can see how to play it and the right starts the game.

The little bubbles won't be there, I just added those so that you would know what button does what since the game is Korean. Once you get to the actual game play, the language isn't important since it's entirely graphical in nature.

Rainbow Chaser

This is what the game looks like when you actually play it. You move the dropper with your mouse, pick a color and fill the dropper, then fill the blocks with the appropriate colors. It sounds simple but the number of colors and blocks increases as you play. It's a good practice for short-term register memory.
