Patricia has retired. Her eyesight has made it impossible for her to continue writing.
In her letter to the fan club members, (The Quizzing Glass, February 2006), Patricia says, that she is moving to retirement housing. "Lots of little lounges, and lots of light and brightness and is a very pleasant place in Bellevue so not too far from where I am right now."
" . . . and I must tell you my dears that my days of writing have come to an end."
Patricia has written dozens of books that made us laugh, cry, and hold our breaths - isn't it wonderful that she has left us wanting more . . .
