How is this supposed to go again? Had to cut out the plywood---unfortunately after it was all together on site.

Pump is a good fit in the hole---except for the supporting 2x4 that's in the way. Had to take base apart and move supporting 2x4 inboard. Seeing as how it wasn't supporting the side anyway... Of course now splicing in a piece of plywood to support that side is going to be a lot more tricky. If CAD had done an assembly drawing these interferences would have been spotted on the screen and resolved. Instead it is time consuming rework in the field. How did Cam put it? "Joe and Dougs money..." O.K., I'll shaddup already and quit worrying about it.
That safety that comes with the pump is intended to be wired to the relay to kill the machine in event of pump failure. Toss up wether a flooded cellar or warm wine is worse when you are gone for a couple months. Warm wine I guess. The Diversitec pumps have both a safety and an alarm circuit...$30
