May favorite Annies' Macaroni and Cheese is the Shells and Real Aged Wisconson Cheddar variety. It sort of bothered me that for a while it was not organic, but now I notice they have an organic version.

They still have the non organic version.

Now the organic version is $1.69 at my local QFC. The non-organic version is 1.49. That's only about 13% more for organic...right? Wait! Look at those boxes. One is 7 oz. the other one 6 oz.. That makes the organic version 28 cents an oz., while the non-organic is 21 cents an oz.. That more like 33% more for the organic version.

All this isn't so terrible, but having one version at 7 oz. and the other at 6 oz. seems a little sneaky. And hey, why not the free game on the organic version?
