Sound bites:

The Fox "Doctor Who" TV movie will be rebroadcast on New Year's Eve.

Airdates of new "Space Ghost Coast-to-Coast episodes:
		12/11, 12/14 "cookout"
		12/18, 12/21 "stop"
12/25, 12/28 "our school play" or "we're sorry"

Local news:

KBTC's December pledge drive ends this weekend. Have you pledged?

Randy Rogel, Guest of Honor at Anglicon 8, has been receiving
unanimously great reviews in the 5th Avenue Musical Theatre Company's
production of "Singin' in the Rain" (running through 12/22). For
info, call 206-625-1900, or check out
	"http://www.speakeasy.org/5thavenue".

Miscellany:

December 19th is the 11th anniversary of a momentous event - the
first broadcast of the "Queen's City Medical" commercial in which
Edith Fore informs a dispatcher, "I've fallen, AND I CAN'T GET UP!"

When told that we were watching (and enjoying) "Neverwhere" way out
here in Seattle, Neil Gaiman said "That's so cool" and "Thanks". (He
also wanted to know where I got the tapes.)

Subject: December meeting o' the Androgums
From: Eric Gjovaag

This coming Saturday, December 14, is the next meeting of the Emerald City
Androgums, and the last one of 1996. In celebration of the 30th
anniversary this year of they Cybermen, and the tenth anniversary of the
planet Mondas returning to the solar system, we're going to show "The
Tenth Planet," the very first Cyber-story. And THIS version contains part
4! Sort of. Oh, you're just going to have to come and see it to
understand. In addition, we'll have some other videos, mostly fun stuff,
both in the main room and in Video Room 2. We haven't made any firm
commitments yet, so if there's something you'd like to see, or you have
you'd like to share, drop me a note or bring it along. Oh, yeah, and also
bring some food for the potluck. Questions? Directions? Etc? drop me
an e-note.

--Eric Gjovaag, Head Chef, the Emerald City Androgums
