Background: I shared this little tale with rsbp Jan. 13.
  I was pretty excited when Mark Cuban joined the Mavs mailing list (I knew
  who he was - co-founder of Broadcast.com and hoped to one day own the 
  Mavs).  The next time I saw my parents, without thinking it all the way 
  through, I told them that one of the richest men in America had just 
  joined my Mavs list.  My mom's immediate response: "Is he single?"  I 
  couldn't believe I was dumb enough to walk into that one.
