[This is from what I saw and the notes I took.  Please excuse
spelling, grammatical, and typing errors as I haven't been
getting much sleep and I am trying to type in as many summaries
as I can.  Times listed indicates time _left_ in the quarter,
half, game and/or overtime.  I am assuming that you know who
plays for which team and I sometime abbreviate teams' names to
two or three letters.  I'm going to use present tense even though
the games are over because I think present tense shows more of
the emotion and I don't have to convert my notes.  Comments,
questions, suggestions, and praise welcomed.]

Atlanta Hawks vs Chicago Bulls in Chicago

1st Quarter:
NBC joins at 0-4 Chi 10:11.  Grant hits a turn around jumper. 
Hawks start 0-10 from the field.  A Willis put back gives Atl
their first 2.  Alley-oop to Jordan is no good.  Blaylock misses. 
Cartwright has the turn around jumper.  Blaylock throws it away. 
8-2 Chi 8:15.  Teams trade possessions.  Wilkens goes to the
line.  2 of 2.  Pippen is fouled.  2 of 2.  A Wilkens jumper
bounces in.  Armstrong airballs, but Grant is there to put it in. 
Nice move with a double team by Wilkens gets the 2.  12-8 Chi
6:13.  Someone makes a 3 for Chi.  Atl makes 2 and Pippen makes
2.  (Was putting my dinner in the oven.)  Augmon 1 of 2 at the
line.  Good Atl D spoiled by good Chi passing and Jordan gets 2. 
Augmon has the slam.  Pippen lays it in.  Wilkens is fouled under
the basket.  2 of 2.  15-20 Chi 3:56.  Willis buries the long
jumper.  Jordan gets the move, drive, tongue out, puts it in, and
is fouled.  Misses the extra.  Blaylock hits the jump shot. 
Grant misses.  Blaylock misses.  Jordan misses.  Jordan steals,
Grant misses, Blaylock misses.  Grant makes it on a pull up. 
Willis rebounds, gets the basket and the foul.  22-24 Chi 45 sec. 
Jordan misses and Willis works for the rebound.  Williams
_nearly_ hits the 3/4 court shot at the buzzer.  22-24 Chi.

2nd Quarter:
Henson starts with a 3.  24 sec violation Chi.  Atl misses. 
Pippen over shoots it.  Koncak misses.  Pippen drives and is
fouled.  1 of 2.  Tie game.  Wilkens airballs it into the hands
of Purdue.  Nice passing by Chi gives Williams the easy 2 under
the basket.  Ferrell is fouled and hits both.  Henson gets the 3
to give Atl a 3 pt lead.  Paxson drives, lays it up, scores, and
is fouled.  Misses the extra.  Willis misses a jumper.  And
Tucker swishes the 3.  Pippen skies for the jam on the break
away.  And faster than I can write, Chi gets the ball and Paxson
drains a 3.  Timeout Atl.  30-37 Chi 7:22.  Grant gets his 3rd
foul and Willis goes to the line.  2 of 2.  Pippen banks the turn
around jumper.  Willis has a nice turn around shot of his own. 
King gets 2 in the paint.  Keefe gets 2.  Pippen misses.  Purdue
tips it in the wrong basket; credit given to Koncak.  Blaylock
passes to Wilkens under the basket who gets the 2 and the foul. 
Misses extra.  Block by Blaylock to prevent the easy two.  Jordan
fouled.  2 of 2.  40-43 Chi 4:32.  Wilkens gets 2 at the line. 
Jordan nails the off balanced shot with Atl player in his face. 
Atl misses and Jordan gets 2 more.  A steal by Armstrong, Chi
break, and Williams jams.  A block by Pippen.  Pippen drives,
misses, but Purdue is there, puts it up, misses, gets it again
and scores.  42-51 Chi 2:37.  Another Chi steal.  Offensive
interference is called on Chi.  Wilkens works hard and gets 2. 
Good D by Atl.  3 sec violation on Chi.  Teams trade misses. 
Wilkens passes to a breaking Augmon for the easy 2.  Loose ball
foul on Augmon puts Armstrong on the line - 2 of 2.  2nd illegal
D against Chi.  Blaylock to Willis under the basket, misses, gets
put back and the foul.  Misses the freebie.  Woooo - Jordan
_banks_ the half court shot at the buzzer!  Future highlight
shoot.  56-49 Chi.

3rd Quarter:  
Jordan has a steal and Jordan puts it in.  Augmon buries the
outside shot.  Koncak blocks, Augmon misses, Pippen hits a
jumper.  Wilkens misses a 3.  Pippen rebounds, but Koncak takes
the ball from him and Willis gets 2.  Armstrong nails the 3.  53-
63 Chi 9:30.  Wilkens gets 2 off a put back.  Grant to Cartwright
for the slam.  Blaylock's 3 rolls in and out.  Jordan is stripped
by Blaylock, but Grant gets the steal under the Chi basket and
gets the 2.  55-67 Chi 8:00.  Koncak is fouled getting the
offensive rebound.  Jordan's 3rd.  1 of 2.  Cartwright gets 2. 
Blaylock loses the ball and Armstrong hits the jumper.  Augmon
gets 2.  Jordan for 2.  Pippen gets a steal, but Grant misses. 
Pippen gets his 3rd foul.  Augmon works hard and lays it in. 
Koncak gets his 3rd.  Pippen makes 2 of 2.  Wilkens with an
outside jumper.  Pippen loses the ball.  Armstrong nails the
quick 3.  65-81 Chi 3:18.  Willis hits a short hook.  Koncak
prevents a Pippen slam.  A couple of points and possessions later
Pippen nails the jumper.  69-85 Chi 40 sec.  Ferrell goes 1 of 2
at the line.  Pippen misses and Atl holds the last shot.  Quarter
ends 70-85 Chi.

4th Quarter:
Steal by Williams.  Williams gets an offensive rebound.  Chi
rewards Williams with a play: Williams moves inside, gets the
basket and is fouled.  Williams gets a defensive rebound.  King
works inside for 2.  90-70 Chi 10 min.  Wilkens cans the 3.  Nice
drive by Wilkens.  Gets the basket and the foul.  Misses the
freebie, but steals the ball from McCray and dishes to someone
for 2.  Keefe gets an offensive rebound and the basket under the
hoop.  Jordan has the reverse layup and the foul.  Crowd chants
MVP.  79-93 Chi 8:09.  Loose ball under Atl basket and Willis
picks it up and puts it in.  Wilkens gets a jumper.  Paxson 1 of
2 at the line.  83-94 Chi 7:30.  Jordan drives and tosses it in. 
Pretty.  Wilkens shots and Grant swats.  Wilkens makes the scope. 
A steal by Augmon and a foul by Jordan - his 5th.  Atl doesn't
score and Pippen's outside shot rolls in.  Pippen steals and a 3
on 1 ends with Grant slamming it home.  (And to think, I thought
my wrist might have a break this quarter.)  85-101 Chi 5 min. 
Willis gets the turn around shot.  Pippen is fouled driving.  1
of 2.  Another shot goes for Willis.  Tucker gets a 3.  Grant
steals the ball.  Bulls have 13 steals for the game.  And Paxson
cans the 3.  Grant gets his 5th foul and Wilkens gets 2 at the
line.  Willis gets his 5th foul and Jordan gets 2 points.  91-109
Chi 2:54.  A jumper from Wilkens goes.  Paxson answers with his
own jumper.  Another jumper by Pippen.  And the crowd is on its
way home.  And unless something exciting happens in the last
1:30, I'll just give you the final score (give my wrist a small
break).  Pretty 3 by Blaylock.
