1984  Signed Terence Stansbury to a 4 year contract.

1997  The city council approved the new arena bill.  There were still 2
      more council votes needed by the city council before they gave 
      their final approval 12/10/97.

1997  Released Derrick Chandler.

1999  Released Anthony Miller.

2001  Released Chris Robinson.

2006  In the annual Blue-White scrimmage, the Blue team defeated 
      the White team 61-57.  The Blue team consisted of Devin Harris, 
      Josh Howard (14 pts), DeSagana Diop, Maurice Ager (13 pts), 
      Austin Croshere, Darius Washington (11 pts), Ndubi Ebi, and 
      Pops Mensah-Bonsu. The White team consisted of Dirk Nowitzki (10 
      pts, 5 reb), Erick Dampier, Devean George, Anthony Johnson, Greg 
      Buckner, DJ Mbenga (12 pts), Jose Berea (3 pts), and Pat Carroll.

2010  Rick Carlisle fainted during practice and was taken to the 
      hospital.  He was released after a couple of hours, but did not
      join the team on the trip to Palm Springs for 10/9/10 game.
