1980  Traded Wiley Peck to Phoenix for a 2nd round pick in 1981 and
      future considerations.

1980  Signed rookie free agent Ralph Drollinger to a 3 year, $150,000 
      guaranteed contract - Dallas' first ever player signed.  He 
      would only play 6 games at the start of the 80-81 season for 
      Dallas before knee problems kept him out for the rest of the 
      season and he eventually retired 3/2/81.

2011  Activated Rodrigue Beaubois and placed Brendan Haywood (strained
      right hip flexor) on IL.  Beaubois (no injury) was on IL for 2 
      days (1 game).  Haywood would be activated 2 days (1 game) later.

    Dallas went on a 13-2 run, capped by a 3-pointer by Jason Terry, to 
    take a 108-101 lead with 34 seconds left. 
  It was a close game as neither team led by more than 9 points.
  Dallas shot 56.5% (39-69) FG including 13-19 3-pointers and Miami shot
    52.9% (37-70) FG including 8-20 3-pointers.
  Dallas had just 26 rebounds, setting the team playoff record low,
    including 4 offensive, tying the team playoff record low.
  Dirk Nowitzki had 29 points including 10-10 FT and 6 rebounds, Terry
    had 21 points and 6 assists, and J.J. Barea had 17 points including
    4-5 3-pointers and 5 assists. 
  LeBron James (Mia) had a triple-double with 17 points, 10 rebounds,
    and 10 assists.  It was the 9th time a Mavs opponent had a
    triple-double in the playoffs.
