1980  Dick Motta is ejected from his first game as a Mavs coach.  It was
      Dallas' 3rd pre-season game.

1984  Signed Kurt Nimphius to a 3 year contract.

2002  Signed Derek Hood and Kipp Christianson to 1 year, non-guaranteed 
      contracts.  Both would be released before the season started.

2010  Signed Brian Cardinal, Dee Brown, and Adam Haluska to 
      non-guaranteed contracts.  Brown and Haluska were released 
      before the regular season started.  Cardinal made the regular
      season roster and was with the team the entire season.
