1982  Signed rookie Bill Garnett to a 5 year contract.

1994  The NBA reinstated Roy Tarpley.

1994  Signed Popeye Jones to a 3 year contract extension.

1996  Signed Shawn Harvey, Greg Dreiling, Jeff Webster, Herb Jones,
      Jaime Peterson, and Erick Strickland to 1 year, non-guaranteed
      contracts.

2002  Signed Raja Bell and Adam Harrington to 1 year contracts.  Both 
      would make the opening day roster.

2002  The LA Clippers signed restricted free agent Wang Zhizhi to a 3 
      year, $6 million offer sheet.  Dallas had 15 days to match the 
      offer.  Dallas elected not to match the offer and Wang became a 
      Clipper 10/16/02.

2003  Signed Josh Powell and Rod Gregoire to 1 year, non-guaranteed
      contracts.  Both would be released before the season started.

2004  Signed Avery Johnson to a 1 year, minimum contract.

2010  Released Tim Thomas, who elected to remain with his family (and
      ill wife) and not join the team.
