6/28 Dallas named Jason Kidd as head coach.
6/28 Dallas named Nico Harrison as general manager.
6/18 Dallas named Dirk Nowitzki as a special assistant to the team
     to help with the selection of a new GM and a new coach.
6/17 Head coach Rick Carlisle resigned.  Carlisle had been the Mavs
     coach since 08-09 and leaves with a record of 554-478 in 13 
     seasons with Dallas.
6/16 Mark Cuban fired GM Donnie Nelson as GM (President of
     Basketball Operations).  Nelson had been GM since 2004 and had 
     been with the Mavs since 1998.
5/22 Dallas placed J.J. Redick (sore right Achilles) and Tyrell
     Terry on IL.

      draft pick and received James Johnson; Detroit traded away Trevor 
      Ariza and received Delon Wright; and Oklahoma City traded away 
      James Johnson and recevied Justin Jackson, Trevor Ariza, and the 
      draft picks.
11/19 Tim Hardaway elected not to opt-out of his contract and,
      thus, remains under contract with Dalls for 2020-21.
11/18 Dallas drafted Josh Green with the #18 pick of the 1st round
      of the 2020 NBA draft.
