Chicago Bulls founder Dick Klein died.  Klein founded the team in 1965 and 
was the owner for 5 years.  He was 80 years old.

Jalen Rose (Ind) suffered a fractured left wrist during Wednesday's Ind-Min
game and will be out 4 to 6 weeks.

Vancouver picked up the 4th year option year of the contracts of Mike Bibby
and Michael Dickerson.  The contracts for 1st round draft picks from 1998
have a 4th year (2001-02 season) at the teams' option that must be picked 
up by October 31.
