The NBA fined Rasheed Wallace (Por) $10,000 and suspended him for 2 games
for hitting a ref with a towel following his ejection from Thursday's
Por-Pho game.

The NBA fined Allen Iverson (Phi) $5,000 for making a derogatory remark
towards abusive fans during Saturday's Phi-Ind game.

Atlanta activated Brevin Knight.

Detroit activated Eric Montross and placed Billy Owens on IR with back
spasms.

Portland activated Detlef Schrempf and placed Antonio Harvey on IR with
soreness in his right knee.

Sacramento signed VP of basketball operations Geoff Petrie to a multi-year
contract extension.

Utah signed coach Jerry Sloan to a 3-year contract extension.  Sloan is
now signed through 03-04.
