News from June 20.

Don MacLean (Mia) elected not to opt-out of his contract and, thus, is
signed for 2001-02.

Minnesota signed coach Flip Saunders to a 2 year contract extension.
He is now signed through 05-06.  The 5 years remaining on the contract,
including the extension, is reportedly worth $25 million.

Keith Bogans (sophomore, Kentucky, guard) and Damien Wilkins (sophomore,
NC State, forward) withdrew their names from the NBA draft.  Underclassmen
who had declared themselves eligible for the draft had until June 20 to
withdraw their names.  The NBA will release the official list of players
who withdrew their names later, probably today.
