Dallas exercised their 2nd year option for Eduardo Najera.

The LA Clippers exercised their option for the last 2 years of head coach
Alvin Gentry's 4 year contract.  Gentry's contract is now guaranteed
through 03-04.

Milwaukee exercised their 01-02 option year for Scott Williams.  The
option year is worth $4.65 million.

Ricky Davis (Mia) underwent surgery on his right foot to repair a
fracture.

San Antonio elected not to exercise their 01-02 option for Samaki Walker
and released him.

Yet another trade that won't be official until July 18: Phoenix will trade
Clifford Robinson to Detroit for Jud Buechler and John Wallace.
