News from September 7. Chicago signed restricted free agent Brad Miller to a 3 year, $13 million offer sheet. Charlotte, who has Miller's restricted rights, has 15 days to match Chicago's offer so that they can retain Miller, but the offer must be able to fit under Charlotte's salary cap. [Charlotte is over the cap and they would have to do some serious maneuvering to be able to fit Miller's contract under the cap, so he is likely to remain a Bull.] Chicago renounced their rights to Dickey Simpkins. Seattle signed forward Ruben Wolkowyski to a 2 year contract. Miami signed Don MacLean to a 2 year, minimum contract. [thanks to Jed Tai]
