The NBA named Kevin Garnett (Min) and Allen Iverson (Phi) as Players of the
Week.  Garnett averaged 24.3 points, 13.3 rebounds, and 6 assists as
Minnestoa went 2-1.  Iverson averaged 26.3 points and 3.3 steals as
Philadelphia went 4-0.
 
Charlotte activated Jerome Moiso and released Eldridge Recasner.
 
Memphis signed Rodney Buford and placed Antonis Fotsis on IR with
tendinitis in his right knee.

Minnesota completed their buyout agreement with Tom Hammonds and announced
his retirement.
