News from December 3.
 
The NBA named Kobe Bryant (LAL) and Jason Kidd (NJ) as Players of the Month
for November.  Bryant averaged 27.6 points, 6.5 assists, and 5.7 rebounds 
as the Lakers went 14-1.  Kidd averaged 13.3 points, 9.6 assists, and 7.6
rebounds as New Jersey went 10-5.
 
The NBA named Stephon Marbury (Pho) and Paul Pierce (Bos) as Players of the
Week.  Marbury averaged 21.5 points and 8 assists as Phoenix went 4-0.
Pierce averaged 29 points and 8 rebounds as Boston went 4-0.
 
The NBA fined Shaquille O'Neal (LAL) $7,500 for verbally abusing a ref and 
failing to leave the court in a timely manner following his ejection from
Friday's LAL-Sea game.
 
Cleveland activated Zydrunas Ilgauskas and placed Jeff Trepagnier on IR
with right knee tendinitis.
 
Philadelphia activated Samuel Dalembert and released Tim James.

Stromile Swift (Mem) had 13 points and 5 rebounds.
