News from April 29.

The NBA announced the All-Rookie teams.  The teams were selected by the
NBA coaches who selected a 1st team (worth 2 points) and a 2nd team 
(worth 1 point) and were not allowed to vote for players on their team.  
Pau Gasol (Mem) was the only unanimous selection.

Rashard Lewis (Sea) will be out for at least 3 weeks with a partially
dislocated left shoulder.

Rod Gizzard (junior , Alabama, guard) declared himself eligible for the 
NBA draft.  Underclassmen have until May 12 to declared themselves 
eligible for the draft.


Sac 91, Uta 86 - at Uta
Predrag Stojakovic (Sac) had 30 points including 9-13 FG and 4-6
3-pointers.
Chris Webber (Sac) had 23 points, 9 rebounds, 3 blocks, and 4 steals.
Doug Christie (Sac) had 12 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists, and 4 steals.
Karl Malone (Uta) had 14 points including 7-20 FG and 5 turnovers.
John Stockton (Uta) had 12 points and 9 assists.
Sacramento takes the series 3-1 and advances to the 2nd round where they
will face Dallas.

Tor 89, Det 83 - at Tor
Morris Peterson (Tor) had 20 points.
Keon Clark (Tor) had 19 points and 16 rebounds including 7 offensive.
Alvin Williams (Tor) had 15 points including 5-16 FG and 9 assists.
Chucky Atkins (Det) had 20 points and 5 rebounds.
Corliss Williamson (Det) had 14 points including 4-13 FG and 8 rebounds.
Eric Montross (Tor, sprained left foot) did not play.
