TRADE: Detroit traded Mateen Cleaves to Sacramento for Jon Barry and a
future 1st round draft pick, no earlier than 2004.

Detroit re-signed Dana Barros to a 1 year, $1.5 million contract.

Houston signed 2nd round draft pick (#34) Terence Morris to a 2 year, $1
million contract.

Houston exercised their 4th year option for 2002-03 on Steve Francis.

Arvydas Sabonis (Por) suffered 2 fractured toes on his right foot and is
expected to be out for 4 weeks.

Tyus Edney signed with Bennetton Trevison of Italy a month ago.  [thanks
