The NBA announced the starters for the All-Star game to take place
February 9 in Atlanta.  The starters were selected by fan voting.  
The reserves, which are selected by the coaches in each conference, will 
be announced Tuesday.  The starters are:

the East team in the All-Star game.  [Bryon Scott (NJ) coached last year
and, thus, was ineligible to coach this year.]

Cleveland named Clifford Ray as an assistant coach.

Toronto released Damone Brown.
