The NBA suspended Zydrunas Ilgauskas (Cle) for one game for his no-contest
plea for drunken driving.  Ilgauskas will miss the first game of the regular
season.

Milwaukee matched Dallas' 4 year, $12 million contract offer sheet to
restricted free agent Michael Redd and, thus, Redd remains with Milwaukee.

Miami released Khalid El-Amin.
