Hakeem Olajuwon (Tor) is expected to announce his retirement November 9 in
Houston.

Denver released Zendon Hamilton.

Houston released Steve Goodrich and Oscar Torres.

The LA Clippers released Bennett Davidson and Eric Chenowith.

The LA Lakers released A.J. Guyton.

Milwaukee released Cedric Henderson and Laron Profit.

New Orleans announced that they will retired Pete Maravich's #7 prior to the
October 31 game.  Maravich played for the New Orleans Jazz 74-75 - 79-80.
[I believe it is the first time an NBA player's number is being retired for
a team he never played for (the Hornets) - maybe the Timberwolves will
follow suit since the Lakers refuse to retire George Mikan's number (should
have been done a _LONG_ time ago).]
