News from November 11.

The NBA named Dirk Nowitzki (Dal) and Jerry Stackhouse (Was) as Players of
the Week.  Nowitzki averaged 21.8 points and 11 rebounds as Dallas went 4-0.
Stackhouse averaged 29 points and 5.8 rebounds and Washington went 3-1.

The NBA suspended Bonzi Wells (Por) for 1 game for spitting on Danny Ferry
(SA) during Friday's Por-SA game.

Nick Van Exel (Dal) underwent surgery on his right knee this morning to 
repair damaged and torn cartilage.  He is expected to be out 3 to 6 weeks. 
Dallas placed Van Exel on IR and activated Adam Harrington.
