The NBA named Kobe Bryant (LAL) and Paul Pierce (Bos) as Players of the
Week.  Bryant averaged 23.3 points, 7 rebounds, and 9.3 assists as the
Lakers went 3-1.  Pierce averaged 26.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 5.7 
assists as Boston went 2-1.

The NBA suspended Rashard Lewis (Sea) for 1 game for shoving a fist in the
face of Travis Best (Mia) during Saturday's Sea-Mia game.

The NBA fined Greg Ostertag (Uta) $7,500 for failing to leave the court in
a timely manner following his ejection during Sunday's Uta-LAL game.

Cleveland activated Darius Miles and placed Bimbo Coles on IR with a left
quad contusion.
