Ray Allen (Sea) won the NBA Sportsmanship Award award.  Allen received 38
of the 116 1st place media votes.  The media were asked to give a 1st,
2nd, 3rd, and 4th place vote to the 4 previously announced divisional
winners.

The NBA fined Raja Bell (Dal) $7,500 for verbally abusing the ref
following his ejection during Sunday's Dal-Sac game.

The NBA fined Dirk Nowitzki (Dal) $5,000 for improper behavior when he
kicked a pile of towels which scattered into the first few baseline seats
during Sunday's Dal-Sac game.

Utah signed coach Jerry Sloan to a contract extension.  Sloan is now
signed through 05-06.

Rick Fox (LAL) underwent surgery on his left foot to repair a torn tendon.

Jameer Nelson (junior, Saint Joseph's guard) declared himself eligible for
the NBA draft.
