News from June 15.

Sam Schulman, original owner of the Seattle Supersonics, died.  He was 93
years old.  He owned the Sonics from 1966-83.

San Antonio takes the series 4-2 to win the NBA Championship.  Congrats,

Tim Duncan (SA) was named as the MVP of the Finals.

Thus ends the 2003 Playoffs.  With the summer here, as usual, these
nba-dailys will become not quite daily.  I'll send out reports when news
occurs (or after I return from vacation for news that occurs while I'm
gone).  The NBA draft is June 26.  Free agents technically become free
agents July 1 and teams can begin signing free agents July 16.  The
Americas Olympic Qualifying Tournament is August 21-31.
