The NBA announced the divisional winners of the Sportsmanship Award.  They
are: Shane Battier (Mem), Elton Brand (LAC), P.J. Brown (NO), and Kerry
Kittles (NJ).  Each team nominated a player for the award and a panel of 5
former players (Walt Frazier, Mike Glenn, Tommy Heinsohn, Eddie Johnson, 
Gil McGregor) selected the 4 divisional winners.  In a change from the past,
the current NBA players will vote for the overall Sportsmanship Award winner
(from amongst the 4 divisional winners).

Orlando signed Britton Johnsen for the rest of the season.

The LA Lakers placed Kareem Rush on IR with a bone bruise on his right
foot.

Philadelphia announced that Allen Iverson will miss the rest of the season
with persistent pain in his right knee.
