New Orleans promoted Allan Bristow to GM.

Darko Milicic (Det) underwent surgery on his broken hand.  He broke the
hand during the end of Tuesday's LAL-Det game.

Brandon Bass (freshman, Louisiana State, forward), Martin Iti 
(freshman, Charlotte, center), Lawrence Roberts (junior, Mississippi 
State, forward), and Nate Robinson (sophomore, Washington, guard)
withdrew from the NBA draft.  Thursday was the deadline for underclassmen
and foreign players who had earlier declared themselves eligible for the
draft to withdraw from the draft.  The NBA is expected to released the
list of underclassman and foreign players under 22 still in the draft
today.
