The NBA named Mike Bibby (Sac) and Jalen Rose (Tor) as Players of the Week.
Bibby averaged 26.5 points and 7.5 assists as Sacramento went 3-1.
Rose averaged 24 points and 5.3 rebounds as Toronto went 3-0.

Boston activated Justin Reed.

Charlotte signed Cory Alexander, released Jahidi White, and placed Bernard
Robinson on IR with a sprained left foot.

Cleveland activated Anderson Varejao and placed Scott Williams on IR with
right knee patella tendinitis.

The sale of the Cleveland Cavaliers to Dan Gilbert for $375 million was
finalized with the approval of the NBA Board of Governors.

The LA Clippers claimed Kenny Anderson off of the waiver wire and released
Maurice Baker.

New York signed Jermaine Jackson to a 10-day contract and placed Jackie 
Butler on IR with right knee patella tendinitis.

Houston released Zendon Hamilton just after they acquired him as part of a
trade on February 24.
