News from April 21.

The NBA named Amare Stoudemire (Pho) and Allen Iverson (Phi) as Players of
the Month for April.  Stoudemire averaged 25.9 points and 10.7 rebounds as
Phoenix went 8-3.  Iverson averaged 32.8 points and 9.1 assists as
Philadelphia went 8-3.

The NBA named Avery Johnson (Dal) and Lawrence Frank (NJ) as Coaches of the
Month for April.  Dallas went 10-1.  New Jersey went 8-2.

The NBA named Shaun Livingston (LAC) and Emeka Okafor (Cha) as Rookies of
the Month for April.  Livingston averaged 11 points and 7.4 assists as the
Clippers went 5-5.  Okafor averaged 16.5 points and 12.4 rebounds as
Charlotte went 3-9.

Cleveland fired GM Jim Paxson.  Cleveland also announced that interim coach
Brendan Malone will not be a candidate for head coach for next season.
