TRADE: Dallas traded Danny Fortson to Seattle for Calvin Booth.

Charlotte signed 1st round draft pick (#2) Emeka Okafor to a 3 year,
$12,060,360 contract with a 4th year worth $5,427,307 at the team's option.

New Jersey signed Kyle Davis.

Portland signed restricted free agent Trenton Hassell to a 6 year, $27
million contract.  Minnesota has 15 days to match the offer.

Portland signed 1st round draft pick (#22) Viktor Khryapa on July 16 to a 
3 year, $3,287,760 contract with a 4th year worth $1,982,598 at the team's
