New Orleans signed 1st round draft pick (#18) J.R. Smith to a 3 year,
$3,891,240 contract with a 4th year worth $2,134,067 at the team's option.

Atlanta named Mike Woodson as head coach.  Woodson was signed to a 4 year
contract.

Denver named Michael Cooper as an assistant coach.

New Jersey released Eddie Gill.
