News from August 2.

The NBA has released the 2004-05 regular season schedule.  You can see the

Orlando signed Stacey Augmon to a 1 year, minimum contract with an option
for the 2nd year.

Kwame Brown (Was) broke a bone in his right foot and is expected to undergo
surgery on the foot.

Cleveland elected not to match Utah's 6 year, $68 million offer sheet to
restricted free agent Carlos Boozer.  Thus Boozer is a member of the Jazz.

San Antonio elected not to match Orlando's 6 year, $38 million offer sheet
to to restricted free agent Hedo Turkoglu.  Thus Turkoglu is a member of the
Magic.
