herniated disk in his back and will miss the rest of the season.

Cleveland released Zendon Hamilton and activated Sasha Pavlovic.

Phoenix released Jared Reiner.

New Orleans released Sean Banks.

Atlanta released John Thomas.

Chicago signed Randy Holcombe to a 10-day contract.

Golden State released Aaron Miles and activated Adonal Foyle.

Indiana released Samaki Walker.

Houston activated Derek Anderson.

Monday was the first day teams could start signing players to 10-day
contracts.  Tuesday (Jan 10) is the guaranteed contract date where all
contracts become guaranteed for the rest of the season.
